Aerial and scissor lifts are commonly used in various industries, such as construction, maintenance, and warehousing, to perform tasks at elevated heights. While these lifts offer significant advantages in terms of efficiency and accessibility, they also pose potential risks if not operated correctly. This training aims to address these risks by:
Educating Participants on Equipment Types and Uses: Understanding the differences between various aerial and scissor lifts and their specific applications is crucial for safe operation.
Highlighting Potential Hazards: Recognizing the common hazards associated with the use of lifts, such as electrical, fall, tip-over, and falling object hazards.
Explaining Regulatory Requirements: Familiarizing participants with OSHA standards, ANSI regulations, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
Teaching Safe Operation Techniques: Providing practical knowledge on how to operate the equipment safely, including proper use of controls and adherence to safe work practices.
Emphasizing the Importance of Pre-Operation Inspections and Maintenance: Ensuring that participants can conduct thorough inspections and perform necessary maintenance to prevent equipment failures and accidents.
Preparing for Emergencies and Incidents: Training participants on how to respond effectively to emergencies, such as equipment malfunctions or accidents, to minimize harm and ensure a swift resolution.
Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.

This course is designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace and on your schedule. Instructional contact time must be a minimum of 8 hours. Most students intend to complete their studies via online learning within 1 month.
All students must achieve a minimum 70% score to successfully pass the examination which shall be taken online through AISP assigned portal. After successful completion of the examination, students will get their results immediately on their registered emails. This is an open-book exam and students are permitted to use a separate browser window to review course content while taking the exam. If you do not pass the examination you may retake the examination. Students are allowed to take an exam three times within one month. During this time, students should review the course material to improve their understanding.
